August ??th, 2024 (probably after my birthday): i buy 100 CD-Rs from walmart

sometime after that: my cd/dvd player that my mom probably bought off of temu breaks

a week or two later: a new cd burner (that my mom got off of amazon) arrives

a few weeks later: after trying to fix the computer that my grandma gave me (not the one that i use to make music/the one that i'm writing this on), i finally decide to bring the CD-Rs and the burner to my grandmas house

a few weeks later: i finally decide to check one of the CD-Rs that my papaw burned (a bootleg Alison Krauss CD-R) i notice that all of the files are .cda and i figure out what the problem is (i had been using wavs except for h&hs which was an mp3)

the same night/the next day: i end up trying a lot of stuff (examples: downloading VLC Media Player and itunes) yet nothing works

December 22nd, 2024: It's now ~25 hours until I share this to the world (it's currently 5:07 pm est) and I still have not done anything.

December 23rd, 2024 @ 9:24 AM [est]: I woke up around an hour ago, and after listening to femboy asmr videos and Five Star Hotel, i realized that i hadn't put the bootleg Alison Krauss CD-R in my cd player (a Sony CFD-V15). I also realized that during the empty space before yesterday, i had seen my papaws cd burner in the basement of my grandmas house. I am thinking of asking her if I can check it out.

December 23rd, 2024 @ 9:57 AM [est]: I ended up taking my copy of "Why Is Anything Forbidden? 2: Cash Money" that i got from the Deathbomb Arc 10 for $10 out of the player and I put the bootleg Alison Krauss CD-R in. It ended up working.
